Who is Garment Printer Ink
Garment Printer Ink is a supply and support company for apparel decorating businesses. GPI prides itself on selling coveted, high-quality products, and offering friendly, continuous customer support.

This revamped logo of their chameleon mascot "Inky", decorated in CMYK colors and coveting an ink drop, reinforces these company values: Friendly support for high-quality products.
New Labels
The old product label designs (available for previewing at the bottom of this page) were cluttered, difficult to read, swamped with redundant and / or unnecessary information, and were in desperate need of love and attention.

The splash of color in a large swooping wave catches the consumers' eyes, and directs them towards Inky in the center, whilst still keeping the vital information (the ink brand and series) prominent. This revamped label design successfully presents both the ink information and the unique, vibrant, and punchy brand attitude.
Branded Video & Photography Ads
The careful consideration of lighting, composition, and styling showcases the products in their best light while reinforcing their high-quality and cutting-edge technology. This consistent approach to the printer video & photography advertisements instills trust, recognition, and ultimately influences purchasing decisions as consumers are drawn to the compelling narrative woven into each image.
Fun With Inky
Play & experimentation with the revamped logo resulted in some fun "out-of-place" inky designs for both web and print.
Digital Assets
An extensive library of branded digital assets (static and animated) was created for use on the company website, social media platforms, paid advertisements, and email blasts.
Garment Printing
Experience and experimentation with the different types of printing equipment not only allowed me to make some fun & weird stuff, but it also provided me with ample research and information to create high-quality, in-depth instructional webpages for consumers. Click here to see an example of one.
About the Team Micro-Interactions
I created a fun interactive set of micro interactions for the  "Meet the Team" section on the company website to highlight the importance of GPI's friendly customer support.

Defining the Hierarchy & Design System
I first determined the information hierarchy by conducting extensive research on user pain points and competitor solutions. I then created the design language for the various ink, cleaning solution, and pretreatment labels.
Once all the Label designs were finalized, I updated each product image on the website. I photographed every bottle, bag, tube, and cartridge in a light box, and created Photoshop templates for consistency and easy label swapping.
